Alaska Trip Day 22

July 21

Hello all

We had nice breakfast at the Bed and Breakfast again this morning I had pancakes and cereal, Candy had oatmeal..  We left around 8:30 AM and went to Providence Alaska Medical Center to visit Earl Moss who had a stroke in his sleep while on vacation in Alaska.  He is a member of Chapter P2, Cadillac, Mi..  He was in good spirits and happy that he would be flying home today at 7:00PM.  They were shipping the two bikes and trailer home.  We spent about 1 1/2 hours talking to him.  From the hospital we went to the botanic gardens in Anchorage.  It was a nice walk around the loops to see the flowers and herbs.  Candy saw a rock shop on the way to the hospital, so on the way to the gardens we had to stop.  A $115 latter she was even happier with and new fossil in the bike.  We drove down town to look at a few more gift shops but it was very busy with a flea market.  Was not able to find a parking lot close so we decided to take in the Harry Potter movie.  It was an action packed movie.  We went out for a sea food dinner, I have King Crab and Candy had shrimp.  On the way back to the room we stopped and got some water and other supplies.  I filled up on gas $2.92 a gallon today and returned back to the room
