Alaska Trip Day 29
Hello AllWe attended the dinner show last night the food was good, chicken and stew. The entertainment was excellent the has two excellent singers and a air plane wreck through the roof. The man that was singing came down a knotted rope from the roof. You would have had to be their to understand. The building had a opening in the roof about 20 feet in diameter. They had a fire pit in the center and we roasted marshmallows' before the show. We left at 6:30 this morning for Whitehorse. It took 2 1/2 hours to go 65 miles, it was very ruff. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get around Destruction Bay because of the construction. When we arrived in town today we got a room and went on a tour of the SS Klondike, it is a restored paddle boat that was used to haul people and cargo up and down the river to Dawson City. It stop after the completion of the highway.
